An interesting and likely informative maiden. IPANEMA BEACH and Estoublon were seperated by 2l on their respective debuts at Navan last month, both finishing strongly from off the pace over an inadequate 6f. The latter didn't get a clear run then so there could be precious little between them this time, the former slightly preferred. Ballydoyle introduce Italy, a son of Wootton Bassett, who has to be respected, as does the Ger Lyons' newcomer Star Chamber, a son of Mehmas and a bit more speedily-bred than the Ballydoyle colt.
