Went close in 15-runner handicap hurdle here (3m, good) last summer and subsequently won a good-ground Irish point; returned from break with good effort in another point last month and looks interesting on chase debut.

0-7 over hurdles but suffered an overreach when pulled up on heavy ground last month, and his previous defeat (also on heavy ground) came after a layoff; unraced on good ground since bumper debut in 2023 but moves up in trip for this chasing debut and current mark is workable if all goes to plan; cheekpieces/tongue-tie removed.

0-8 over hurdles; placed off today's mark at Ayr (2m4f, soft; first-time cheekpieces) in February but pulled up both runs either side; not yet proven over 3m or on good ground; tricky to predict on chase debut.

Yet to add to his Irish chase win in summer 2022 and looked out of sorts on all three starts for Andrew Hamilton towards end of last season; might be aided by refitted tongue-tie here but it still takes a leap of faith to support him.

0-23 under all codes and not very reliable but gave very good account when fourth from out of the weights at Kelso (2m7f, good) three weeks ago and is effectively 9lb lower from correct mark here; contender if in the right mood again.

Made all for clearcut chase win at Newcastle (2m7f, good to soft) in December but has not come close to matching that form this year; well beaten when tried in cheekpieces (now removed) over hurdles last month and now switches back to fences with a point to prove; 1lb wrong.

Has 0-31 strike-rate and is 2lb wrong today but ran quite well when upped to 3m over hurdles at Ayr (soft; also suited by good) in March and remains unexposed over this trip; back over fences today; not ruled out.
