They won't be loitering here with a few of them liking to have their way up front and that will suit ARNAZ who has promised to be suited by 6f on a stiff track and returned to action with a good effort at Haydock. Northcliff was in cracking form only last week for his previous yard but the easy lead won't be his for the taking and Dream Of Mischief, quite unexposed over 6f, may be the biggest danger to the selection. Mostly leads; has done his winning over 7f on AW and turf (good to firm and good) but little in it as to whether he's better at that trip or 6f; drops in grade but this could be another step too far off current mark.
Won this last year but rather trod water later until a visor replaced cheekpieces back on turf last week, scoring by wide margins at Wetherby and Brighton (6f); left Michael Keady for 20,000gns since; can't be ruled out but the weights task is heavier now, 7lb higher than last time.
Made all for both 6f wins on turf (good and good to firm); still 5lb higher than the latest of them last July and was said to have moved poorly when tailed off on recent Leicester comeback; best watched.
All three wins over 7f and 1m but he showed no lack of early speed in his first 6f handicap, on Kempton AW 19 days ago, when he didn't give an inch in a tight finish; looks worth persevering with at this trip and has a good run in him.
Flourished over 6f on AW for former trainer when blinkers were first fitted, beating Northcliff in cosy fashion at Newcastle in January; not so effective over 5f at Newmarket on yard debut in April and although the return to 6f will suit he looks on a highish mark now.
Useful over 6f and 7f in 2022 and 2023 but he had a hard time of it last year despite taking a brisk drop in the weights; encouraging yard debut on Southwell AW in February on penultimate start and, although he never threatened at Newcastle in March, he isn't ruled out back on turf.

Won over 6f and 7f in Ireland as a 2yo; a lost soul for much of the time since but he had dropped a long way in the weights when running his best race for this yard when second of ten at Wolverhampton (7f) in January; worth a look for trainer who's won two of the last nine runnings.
Just one win on turf but he's had few chances over 6f on good or quicker ground and excelled himself when beating a big field at York (good to firm) last July, the only time Hollie Doyle has ridden him; in the melting pot back on turf.
