Signcastle City returned to action with a very good AW run and there is more to come from Indalo and Shamrock Bay (second choice) who are both quite unexposed. However, it could be worth chancing PADISHAKH off a favourable mark for his in-form new yard as he's had some excuses since leaving France and ran a blinder in a good Ayr handicap in the autumn. King Of Charm might also run well.[Emily Weber]

Dubai regular who retained ability there (about 1m1f, good) in January but less good next time; now has first turf run in Britain since down the field in two Class 2 races in 2023 and he's only 3lb lower than the latest of them; goes without regular cheekpieces and has a bit to prove.
Has won on firm and soft; generally reliable, adding three handicaps (1m and 7f) in 2024, and he ran as well as he ever has on return to action on Chelmsford AW (7f) 12 days ago; has less to prove than some.
Very useful 3yo in France when placed in Group 3 and Listed races; had ups and downs for David O'Meara in 2024 but he's well treated on a close second over 1m at Ayr (good to firm) in September; played no part in Dubai since but remains of interest for new yard.
Has managed just one run in three seasons of racing, looking promising for 7f and 1m novice wins on Newcastle AW before his handicap debut didn't unfold in his favour there in February; likely capable of better on turf debut.
Finished strongly when making a winning debut at Yarmouth (7f, good) before following up under more positive ride over C&D (good to firm) in August; gelded since; has handicap potential for yard that won this in 2022.
Failed to advance his reputation in Dubai this year but he previously won two novices (good) in Britain and wasn't far away in a 1m Ascot handicap (soft) in October; still has a shade to prove in first-time cheekpieces.
Ended 2024 campaign with a downbeat AW run but he has a good record fresh, having made a winning debut as 2yo and finding only one (who was way ahead of her mark) too good on reappearance last year; suited by good and quicker ground; thereabouts.
Won two of his five turf handicaps at 1m2f (good to firm) for the Crisfords in 2024; nothing doing for new yard so far and has plenty to prove kept to 1m; of more interest later when back at 1m2f.
