Footstepsinthesand colt wasn't discredited on sole 2yo start in hot late-season Leopardstown maiden and reappeared much improved to land 1m maiden there last month, racing keenly but showing good turn of foot a furlong out to quicken right away; looks a nice prospect but fair step up in class here.
Surprise debut winner of 6f maiden here last summer but bit exposed in stakes company afterwards, each time staying on as if a step up in trip will suit (not clear run at Dundalk final start); gelded over the winter and step up in trip should suit but others may have greater scope for improvement.
