An open race. GIVEUPYERAULDSINS moved well for a long way on her chase debut and could have the most potential of these. Side Stepper rates a solid alternative after giving it a right go from the front at Hereford and this looks his trip. Pride Of Paris may yet come good but he's beginning to frustrate.[Alistair Jones]

Won a novice hurdle in December (2m6f, good); 0-7 as a pointer but travelled well when runner-up on chase debut back at Newcastle (2m7f) and can build on that.
Winning hurdler but becoming expensive to follow and was a beaten favourite over hurdles before suffering the same fate on return to fences at Ffos Las (3m, good to soft); faded disappointingly there and cheekpieces are turned to.
Second in novice hurdle here (2m7f, good) but then tailed off in a handicap and fared no better on his switch to fences; absent since July and others are safer.
Hard to predict over hurdles and has twice run flat since winning at 40-1 in January (2m3f, good to soft); difficult to trust on this switch to fences.
Still a maiden and his latest second at Huntingdon was remote and disappointing, given he was 5lb well in after a close second to last week's Perth winner Fairlawn Flyer; wouldn't be far away with a repeat of that run even off this higher mark.
Dual hurdle winner; 0-10 over fences but second here last May over 2m5f and didn't run badly on his return from a break; Hereford last time was thoroughly underwhelming but he's better than that.
Clear at one stage before outpointed by the winner on stable/chase debut at Taunton (2m7f, good to firm); that was only 24 days ago after a mammoth absence, so some doubts as to whether he'll be as good again.
5-15 in points; tailed off in three hurdle runs but ran okay on her switch to fences/handicaps at Ffos Las (2m3f) as she got behind and would have been closer but for a late mistake; has potential off this mark and over this longer trip.
0-10 under rules; tailed off on chase debut but that was over 2m3f and upped to 3m1f at Hereford he ran well from the front; good chance off an untouched mark; now tongue tied.
