Thunder Rock
Smart hurdler/chaser who could be interesting with Lewis Saunders taking away 7lb if he can rediscover some form and he has been running in Grade 2s this season; too talented to rule out.

Homme Public
Runner-up in a strong Class 2 handicap chase at Doncaster 21 days ago that he won the previous season; does like that track (won over hurdles there in December) but he was runner-up in this two years ago when only 2lb lower; ran in first-time blinkers last time but he's very effective in cheekpieces.

Nusret
Dual Flat winner and was a smart juvenile hurdler two seasons ago, winning twice and competitive at the top level; handicapped accordingly and left Joseph O'Brien under a bit of a cloud, albeit when highly tried; if as good as he was and not held back by his fitness after 233 days away, he'd go close; unraced over this far as a hurdler but stayed well on the Flat.

West To The Bridge
Cracking servant to his connections, winning for a tenth time when benefiting from the return of cheekpieces at Wetherby (2m3f, soft; 17-2); had a bit in hand then and he's essentially 3lb lower when taking into account his rider's claim; just a nagging concern that he'd prefer softer ground.

Milldam
Best form has been on heavy ground, including his Haydock win just before Christmas (1m7f; 6lb lower); good to soft seemed to find him out at Kelso three weeks ago and conditions are again a turnoff.

The Four Sixes
Capable front-runner on his day but started this season with two non-completions over fences and suffered the same fate back hurdling at Newbury (3m); won't mind returning to a shorter trip but has a good bit to prove now.

Gentleman Bill
Won here in November and followed up on his handicap debut at Doncaster, again at about 2m; performed to a similar level when beaten in a novice two runs ago (2m3f) but then at 28-1 he never got involved in the Morebattle at Kelso; will need his best form yet to take this.

Mr Freedom
11 career wins pretty much split between hurdles and the Flat; won over 1m6f at Sandown last July so remains very capable and he'll enjoy the forecast good ground back over jumps; on a handy mark if fit enough to do himself justice after 210 days away.

Willaston
Just under two years ago he won back-to-back Class 2 good-ground handicaps at Cheltenham (2m4f) and Haydock (3m); however, hasn't really touched on that form this season and he's a 9yo now; had three months off.
