Jena D'Oudairies sets the standard and she has to feature prominently in calculations but she's been a thorn in the side of her supporters over hurdles so far. This looks a good opportunity but there is a viable alternative in the form of useful bumper winner BELLAS BRIDGE. With two wind surgeries already, allied to the fact she bled from the nose at Wetherby when last seen on Boxing Day, she's hardly without risk but she still has time to deliver a bigger performance over hurdles. Of the remainder a better run could be forthcoming from Miss Tiara on faster ground.[Paul Smith]

Point/useful bumper winner; made mistakes when third of nine on her hurdle debut at Southwell in October, after which she underwent wind surgery (her second such operation); 11-4 second favourite for a 2m3f mares' maiden at Wetherby on Boxing Day but dropped right away and was subsequently found to have bled from the nose; has ability and this is weak so she has to be considered despite the obvious risks; hood now enlisted.
Point winner in January 2023 (3m, soft); returning from nine months off when third of 12 in a novice hurdle here five weeks ago (2m, soft) and she didn't run badly, outpaced from two out and making a mess of the last; going back up in trip can help; could sneak some more prize money.
Dam placed over hurdles, half-sister to smart 2m2f-2m6f hurdle/chase winner Easter Legend and smart 2m1f-2m3f chase winner Easter Meteor; starts out in an uncompetitive maiden and she's worth a look in the market.
Fifth foal; half-sister to winners Hi Ho Phoenix (2m7f hurdle) and Ohzark (point); dam unraced sister to useful 2m4f-3m5f hurdle/chase winner Thelobstercatcher; makes her debut in an uncompetitive event and she needs a market check.
Bumper winner at Taunton last spring; had wind surgery prior to finishing second on her hurdle debut/reappearance at Wincanton on Boxing Day (1m7f, good to soft); beaten at short odds at Taunton the following month and again a beaten favourite at Kempton when last seen five weeks ago; steps up in trip today and she's been found a golden opportunity.
Had wind surgery prior to her debut in an Exeter bumper last month (2m, heavy), a race where she dropped away in the straight; was nibbled in the betting there and bred to have a future over obstacles but still not easily recommended.
Showed some promise in a Uttoxeter bumper last April (2m, soft); well beaten in a mares' novice hurdle back there five weeks ago; new trip/quicker ground needs to spark improvement.
